'Victory' was (in all likelihood) the codename for this year's AC.
So, next's year's AC's codename will be: 'Charle'

(see what I did there? chopped off one letter from 'Charles'. clever, eh?)

Pretty sure OP is referring to the way many boys are given their father's first name as their middle name, i.e. Haytham Edward Kenway, and hell, your very own LoyalACFan (yes, my father's name was Assassinscreed Jones :p). Given Ubi's propensity for father/son bonding and vengeance stuffs, it actually is a little strange that they didn't go with Arno Charles Dorian. I guess Victor just sounds better, but it is a bit of a curveball. Usually the Assassin's names have some significance.

Unless... it's a conspiraseh

The simple answer is that Charles Victor are dead common names. That's all.
