They are great, the last one makes my current desktop wallpaper.

SeaFireLIV, have you considered a website with all your work ? It would surely be a great thing to have. And please, keep up the good work. Maybe with more personal touch, drawing some of this board's icons like SkyChimp or Huck, who knows http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

I think those cartoons are great!! last one was very inspired. Can I get a full size one? I would host them all if I had the space.

It seems our 'artist' is little shy...

I've seen him posting around here and he's not replied to this thread....

He should step up and take a bow.

Good work Seafire!

Salute to Seafire, I really like his work. The cool thing about the community is the diversity of talent that we have and I personally always enjoy seeing what he comes up with.

His style is fresh, upbeat and has nice humor to it and somehow he captures a strong feeling with his art...very sweet.

<S!> SFL, I send my appreciation of your work sir.

Either 'shy' or modest.

I agree, SeaFire's cartoons are one of the good things in these forums. I look forward to a new one every time.

Maybe someone could make skins of SeaFire's more famous cartoons ? With permission, of course. And do some of the planes have a name (like Jay Jay the jet plane, or something) ?

Shy? Me? No way! Just got busy! Anyway, thanx a lot for the comments. Truth to tell, I only did it cos I felt like it. I didn`t expect anyone to really take note. It`s been years since I`ve ever done anything like this. It really is due to FB... My usual stuff is Sword and Sorcery ecapism like this:

http://img12.photobucket.com/albums/v31/SeaFireLIV/angry.jpg

and this...

http://img12.photobucket.com/albums/v31/SeaFireLIV/serpentfang.jpg

this...

http://img12.photobucket.com/albums/v31/SeaFireLIV/fight.jpg

http://img12.photobucket.com/albums/v31/SeaFireLIV/title.jpg

and this one which is the closest to what i`ve done for the forums.

http://img12.photobucket.com/albums/v31/SeaFireLIV/Catchcar.jpg

I`ve put up my `lighter` stuff. My usual work can be very bloody- but good always wins in the end!
As you can see I`m more of a serious artist (or should I say violent http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif). Comical isn`t really me, but it`s a nice change from what I normally do.

I`ve thought about doing comical scenes of some of our more `interesting` forum dwellers here, but I think it would be a mistake, causing possible offence. I won`t take it out on anyone here with my work.

No I don`t have a website... Maybe someone could host till I get something sorted? Anyway, thanx, all your comments really are appreciatiad, if unexpected.

Well, you clearly have alot of talent. And 'cartoons' doesn't mean that it is not serious. You should make more WWII aircraft stuff!

Of SeaFire's FB cartoons, I also like the I-16 one. It's probably because the I-16 itself is a 'cute' aircraft being very pudgy almost like a plush toy.

A plush toy with a couple of ShVAKs. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well yes. That`s why I did it the first time. The I16 was perfect for such a pic...

Great work. Strongly reminiscent of Hank Caruso's work. I loved seeing his drawings when I was in the service. He draws for Naval Aviation News. He even has a web site featuring his copyrighted material for sale. http://www.aerocatures.com/ Maybe you should copyright your stuff too. It's of that caliber.

SeaFire, may I suggest you concentrate even more on WW2 planes ? I mean, we all like your work and there aren't really many artists doing the stuff we'd like to see.

Have you perhaps heard of Duma's Aces High cartoons ? They were describing certain situations around development and happenings in another air combat sim and were very well received. Sorry, I don't have a link here, but if someone does, please post it. Thanks !

Never seen this work before! It is very similar isn`t it?

Actually, I used to be in the business a while back, but er... marriage interrupted it in a bad way. So, I`m really getting back into it again. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I was a great fan of heavy metal (big giveaway on my art influences there).

If that`s your pic Gozr, it`s good.

Most interesting artwork work SeaFireLIV. I thought that you must be doing original art for your posts. A lot more talent then I'll ever have (unfortunately).
GOZR, would that be a Speed Triple in your post, or is it modeled on some thing more Eastern?

SeaFireLIV, will you be debuting your new line of AEP related cartoons soon ? I can't wait to see your versions of the new aircraft. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
