Here here...

I must have enjoyed it because I've finished the game and after that I have joined these forums.

Usually I just shelve a game and forget about it after completion.

I'm really hoping for an expansion http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You know, I have been waiting, and waiting, for a direct x9 game that really puts to use the features of my 9800 pro. Now one is finally here, and better than I ever could have hoped for. But all I hear is a a lot of complaining by people with poor hardware, or driver issues. Man, in 2 or 3 years I would be ashamed to get on some cutting edge game's forum, and complain about my performance! I have been having a blast with FarCry, and Ubisoft was good enough to get it out before the really nice summer weather hits!

it is indeed a very interesting game ...i've had my fun so far with it, taking my time..

but if you're looking for some expansions, check out the mod section on the forum, some people have gone very creative with the chainsaw motion and such, don't be afraid of the 180 page sandbox editor manual and hit that thing, the more the merrier!

I'm sure with the sandbox editor there are going to be very many new maps and modifications to farCy, and it won't be the realm of only the super talented that create them as it has been with other games such as Moh:aa. I look forward to the new and interesting things that will be coming for this game, and say to the negative crowd.... Grow up ! by a new PC and enjoy the game!

What? another thread without my name in it? That's not gonna last!

Yup, I have to agree with all of you. Wow, what a game! I mean daaaaam! I've never seen anything that compares to it. I've suggested it to all my friends.

Yeah, there are some very real bugs in it but that's to be expected...no really. This is a brand new game engine. There's no way they could test it on every conceivable computer configuration...no way. I'm sure the people at UBI and Crytech are working their collective booties off to get it working smoothly for everyone.

Speaking as one of the ones that had problems with the game (at first) I don't think I need to grow up or buy a new computer. But then, I never flamed UBI/Crytech because of the bugs. I did what I could to make it work and shared what I learned with others. So I'll assume you're not talking to me, FarCryCA. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif I really kind of think that bug reports and resolution discussion is our duty as consumers. Nothing will ever get better if we just complain about it. But in this age of instant gratification I think most people would disagree with me. I suppose that's their right.

As for the negative posters and nay sayers, I don't know what to say about them. I'll sick my 'gators on 'em if you like Killer_Waffle.

let the gators eyeball them a little, will add some jumpyness when they hear a roar http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

as for having problems with the game..if you look at the general discussion - cd error thing, i ran into a few problems myself. the first issue was rather funny, the setup crashing under xp and then just goes on to finish the install. I'm having a few issues with the multiplay myself, but i'll get that sorted out, haven't had the time yet...

The hungry gators are eyeing the nay-sayers.

So, you nay-sayers are a little happier with the game now, yes? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
