hi all ..just wanted to tell you all about what happened to me about half a hour ago...i thought i would have a quick fly in the 262 as i dont fly it that often...so up i went vs 8 pe8s high at 5000m ...set myself up a headon pass ..the bombers closing very fast and just managed a 1 second burst that seemed to miss...then looking back i see 1 bomber slowly dropping from formation and starting to roll downwards ...the turn getting tighter and tighter ...i watched that bomber all the way down... no flames...no smoke ...no chutes and a very odd feeling came to me that had never happened before in FB...the feeling that real people flew this planes not such a long time ago...and risked their lives each day...never knowing if they would be coming back...it was a very strange feeling seeing that bomber go all the way down and it made me remember that i should repect what all them pilots did for real...no matter what country race or creed ...has anyone else ever had such a feeling playing this game or any other?

I get that quite often actually /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Especially when you're feeling at the top of your game and someone comes along and downs you /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Most of us guys would last a minute in a real plane in a combat situation....

Respect!

I have this feeling or thought sometimes when I play...

"will I see this airfeild again" "will I see onother day"

I cant fully comprehend what those pilots felt or thought. I can only imagine.

I feal the same when it comes to repecting the pilots and other military personal involved in any conflict. I also feel for all the civilians that were killed, woulnded, and or having there families torn apart.

Anyway this is depressing. Mayby some day we humans will no longer have to kill or conqer each other.

Maybe I'm jaded, but I have pretty much accepted the our predisposition to kill eachother. We've been through horrors over and over again throughout history and never retained the lessons as a race.

We are forever stuck in remedial humanity 101, maybe we all just have a learning disability. Hell I heard in the news the other day about that suicide bombing at a concert in Russia. The Chechen master planners are only going to alienate a segment of the population in Russia that may have listened to them in a few years (open minded Russian youth)

My Country (U.S.) is lurching around the world like a Bull in a china shop, putting troops everywhere. Now I ain't a pacisfist or what you'd call a liberal, but I do have common sense. All we're doing is alienating ourselves, and leaving ourselves only one method through which other nations listen to us, military force.

North Korean leaders are just plain outta touch with reality.

Israel and Palestinians, say no more

Tribal wars in Africa, mass slaughter

Chinese Govt. still arresting "radicals" constantly

Arrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, as I always say "Humans are, and will continue to be dumb***ks."

Yep humans are simply too stupid to learn.

One should think that the first world war would have sufficed to become the war that ends all wars on earth.
That way the death of so many would have made a slight sense.

Instead there was a second even nastier one shortly afterwards and dozens and dozens of smaller ones since 1945.
That´s insane.

I will never understand that but I have come to live with it.

Mankind is stupid.

I kinda had one of those the other evening while flying a 109E against some French-marked MS 406s. I circled in on a 2d pass from dead astern and high. From just under two hundred meters, I gave the Morane a good burst. Then, closing towards point blank range, the pilot decided to bail. It was a little surreal, because the pilot popped up just before I pulled the trigger, and for a split second, I had a choice.
