Interesting. Thank you.

I have been looking around at sites that feature the Mk IX, in hopes to find out if it was truly possessing a fully automatic radiator. Stories from pilots tell of setting the radiator flaps to "open" for takeoff, then switching to "automatic" once the flight was underway. Whether this was turned off during combat, I do not know.

It seems that everyone flying the Spit IX is reporting the lack of radiator control as a bug. Well, it very well may be a bug, if the pilot had the ability to change from manual to auto, which it seems that he did from what I have read so far.

Anyone remember the 109K rudder? We actually heard people say that it was not in use on the plane, and others believed them. Does anyone know about the Spit's cooling, and if this is a missing option from CEM?
