Can anyone tell me how I can fly the Lightning on the Pacific map with out the D Day invasion stripes? I only use QMB because of machine limitations and also UQMG, but I know UberDemon has not had a chance to update it for AEP. So, to fly the Lightning in the Pacific right now what are most of you guys doing? Will I have to d/l another skin? I am not familiar with that process. Any help would be appreciated!

go to http://www.il2skins.com

download the skins you like.

the actual skins are bitmap files, .bmp

place each skin .bmp in it's corresponding aircraft folder in here,

C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\PaintSchemes\Skins

you can select the new skins in the arming screens before a mission. FB will remember which skin you used last.

Actually, Leadspitter and Jutocsa have both skinned "Marge," Bong's P-38J. Jutocsa also painted "Pudge," Tommy McGuire's P-38, and McDonald's P-38. All were flown against the IJN in the Pacific...and all are on IL2skins.com.
