Reading these forums it has come to my attention that people seem to think there is BnZ planes and TnB planes. Personally I find this absurd. There is only tactics. While I must admit plane designers with a clue would design aircraft to be more successfull with a certain tactic, i.e. 109, to think of it as a BnZ plane is incorrect. Forgive the subjective viewpoint but I have found that using BnZ tactics in a I16 vs G2 scenario to be "killer" and sometimes using the high AoA abilities of the 109 in TnB fighting to be an excellent tactic as well.

Basically it comes down to a loop of: Do I have a altitude advantage? Yes: BnZ. Equal: E fighting. No: TnB with a eye towards moving to an E fight.

So I say lets loose the predjudice and become better pilots by using tactics for the situation and not default ones based on the plane we are flying.

NB I hope this post offends no one but I am breaking my rule of not posting after drinking more than 3 alcoholic beverages. Still I think there is some education in the discussion which may or may not follow.

Yah, it's a tactic.

BUT! oh drunken one.. some planes are frickin useless UNLESS they utilise this tactic..

Say, the fw190.. It wold get eaten alive in a turn fight.

Thus, it becomes known as a BnZ plane - rightly so dontcha think?

And there's no reason why people can't BnZ with yak3s and La7s .. the supposed TnB planes.. but considering they have the option of both, it's easier to TnB.

It's got this way for a reason.. evolution http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif
