Anyone up to making this Italian Stallion?

Get cockpit pics here: http://www.ww2aircraft.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=464&highlight=
Also, some externals here: http://www.aldini.it/re2005/history.htm

If anyone is up to make it and wants more info, PM me. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Could be...could be.....http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Stay tuned!

P.S.: remember this; Re 2005 probably was really a Mark IX killer, but only 29 fought in Italy.

Go on Veltro, you've almost finished those Macchi beauties. This game is crying out for more Italians. They are the only real modern alternative to Luft 109s/190s. Only about thirty Ta 152's produced but thank god it's in game, so lets not quibble about numbers.

I'm not a modeller.... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif...so i'm not speaking officially, but we have already a MARVELLOUS Re 2005's lod0...

Now i can only say, stay tuned......we have time again. Now the priority is for Radek C200 who fought in russian front; we need it to take care of I-16.

Italian machines powered by a Tifone DB605 (like any of the so- called '5' series aircraft- Fiat G55, Macchi C205 and Re 2005} were in the same class as- but not necessarily superior to- the Spitfire IX (Merlin 60 series). Compare speeds at rated altitudes and you will see there is little to choose.
If you want to go up a class you have to talk about Griffon powered Spits and DB603 powered Italian aircraft- the Fiat G56, Re 2006 and Macchi C207
Only one G56 was completed, one Re 2006 started, and no Macchi 207s produced. A pity- from the aeronut's point of view- as they were very beautiful designs.

I'd rather see a G.55 than RE2005
