Thanks VERY MUCH for the patch ~S! 1C...!

But also hate to say it, the Dedicated Server patch 2.04 for the dedicated software is still loading into the old IL2 DF room, not loading into the IL2-ACE room. In UBI game service.

Is there any word on this?

Just wondering, what was the big deal with losing sleep over this? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif Just a regular patch, nothing spectacular. As far as I'm concerned, 2.01 was perfectly fine (except some minor glitches), but then I don't spend my entire day reading through volumes of statistical compendia trying to figure out the .50 dispersion.

I was just going to ask about the sound. I haven't even bought this expansion pack yet, because I've noticed many people making the same complaints as they were about FB.

FB 1.0 works OK on my system, but not the 1.22 version. So I've held off the AEP as well. So does anyone have this latest 2.04 patch working on a sound chip at full hardware acceleration (DirectX and in-game) and isn't having any problems at all?

Or if the sound has improved but still has problems, in what respects has it improved and wha is still wrong?

I notice that the patch changelog makes no mention at all regarding sound fixes.

WereSnowleopard, the patch is self-extracting, just double click it and it should run.

What has Oleg done!!! I am running a top of the line system P4 3.2EE, 2 Gigs of RAM and a GeForce 5950(maybe it used to be top of the line) Alienware. I have noticed a very large increase in FPS both in perfect mode and excellent mode. I have noticed that the draw distance has increased and the landscape looks sharper way out there. I think that he has done a great job here. I have not found anything in the way of bugs yet. I hope that I don't...

And can I install over 2.01? Can't find this critical info anywhere.

I confirm 28 files unzipped from the client patch, anyone else confirm.

Thanks in advance.

Great , anyone got any install instructions ?

I had 3 files in my "patch" zip and one was a read me.
So i unziped it in my IL2 folder and now i can only play IL2FB 1.22 there is no SPB or Tirpitz etc .... please help..

**** just read that i prolly installed the server version (these forums are tricky to look through , had to re-register as my memmory and e-mail account are void) . Will this mean i have to reinstall AEP before applying the patch ?

Damn strange you can hardly find that 2.01 is MANDATORY for installing 2.04! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif Nothing about it at the official site, and not in the first anouncement post in this thread either! It´s first if you are lucky seeing it at 3D gamers you´ll get a hint. It´s not even in the readme!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
