You don't believe what I just found. It seems some early Pacific Fighters objects are already included in AEP (for testing purposes?) and you can actually use them in FMB - including an aircraft carrier! Our FMB specialist ran into them when he was browsing sukhoi.ru forums today (I don't speak any Russian myself). The objects are hidden of course, but they show up in the "Stationary Ships" object list, if you add two lines in your conf.ini file. I don't know exactly where in the file they are supposed to go, but I believe you can just append them at the end of the file: EnablePFObjects=01 and ViewObject.CV=04 (values other than 01 and 04 may work too, but not all carriers are there, so you may get a non-existent ship.)

We just finished a quick coop mission with these beauties in it as stationary objects, have a look (http://www.LeLv30.net/kuvat.phtml). Anyone know which CV that is? Because I sure don't recognize it.

It doesn't work for me. Can you be more specific about what and where to put it? I've tried everywhere. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Are you serious? If you are please be more specific before you get people to mess with their conf.ini file. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

The first shots are understandably masked, but in this (http://www.lelv30.net/kuvat/Avenger.jpg) shot, one can easily see that the "carrier" is constructed from an existing ship and some bridge objects (probably Lenningrad bridges). Nice try, folks.

It was the "conf" file that made me think this is weird. That would be more like something in "bldconf" file like V~1 "rocket."

btw...the label of ROCKET in FMB object menu has me thinking. V~1 was not a rocket, maybe they are planning future real rockets like V~2 and maybe even experimental German AA rockets. mmmm

no you cannot taxi onto objects

Bridges or ships are off bounds
