I have two films one of me in a 110 firing the Big Gun vs tanks and another in a Yp-80 attacking a V-1. While watching them, the targets have vanished, instead - I'm flying around firing at empty space!!

What gives?

Hey, Flatspin - I've seen it too. In original IL2 and in FB...but not since I got AEP. I don't know what causes it. Looks weird on the track, though. Fly your approach, set up the shot, take the shot - all with no target anywhere in sight! Some glitch in track recording, evidently - maybe over in the community support forum they know the cause...

Did you use time compression during the mission? If so then that's the problem. Unfortunately using time compression while recording a track can cause a corrupted track. i've also gotten the odd corrupted track when I _haven't_ used time compression. Anyways, it's made me a big fan of the quick track feature. I normally just record quick tracks when i'm in combat, unless I want to do something like damage model testing and go in the QMB and want the damage model arrows available.

The 110 mission probably had time compress, the Yp80 was online, maybe that has something to do with it as well.
