Not A Scratch (http://www.exophase.com/achievement/assassins-creed-chronicles-china-xbox-one/105342-not-a-scratch/)
Assassinate all enemies in the ambush in Memory Sequence 8 without taking a single hit.

Lol, spoilers much?

Looks like the parasitic, kitschy, piece-of-s--t MARK of THE NINJA knock-off they were proud of being.

So now the achievements are cheap knock-offs?

See and compare. I mean everything in these games (everything) is from Mark of the Ninja. The grappling, the sliding and killing, the challenges part, the scrolls, the enemey awareness AI and so on.

These are the basic trophies/achievements found throughout the series... As for the scrolls... it is based in china.

I looked at both lists, and frankly, they are a bunch of generic "do x action five times, remain undetected, collect y" achievements mixed in with some event specific achievements.

Also I do think that Assassin's Creed: Chronicles China looks too much like Mark of the Ninja, but it's very easy for me to dismiss Mark of the Ninja as a knockoff of Mario, Tenchu, Thief and MGS. Point is, video games have a lot of old concepts these days, what makes them stand out is their implementation.

Meh, they seem like the typical stealth game achievements that you see all around, with a few story-important character names thrown in. But somehow that is a knockoff as well. The more you know.

Most trophies/achievements in which ever genre the game is, are very similar and identical. If it's an online shooter? Shoot x amount of enemies, using x amount of guns. If it's a rpg, complete x amount of quests, as this character, that character, and a chimpanzee.... What differentiates the lists are weapon specific trophies, which means kill x amount of enemies using y gimmick weapon, as well as the trophy/achievement images, and titles... even then titles become recycled as well... As it stands, the imagines for chronicles China are quite lacking in creativity and color... I was expecting them to at least bring the art style to the images... Mark of the ninja's achievements on the other hand... I like the look, sadly I don't game on xbox or pc, so I can't play the game.

Well the implementation in Mark of the Ninja is specific and unique. That kind of 2D presentation of 3D stealth was highly refined, its also entirely different from AC stealth. And its clear to anyone who has played Mark of Ninja that the gameplay has been wholly ripped off from there for China.

Not reallly. The stealth and movement in the game is still the cinematic platformer of POP1, Another World. The one in Mark of the Ninja is a lot more comprehensive and jet-propelled. It's way more varied and diverse.

Uh, no the light and sound stealth system in that game is the same here. As is the hiding system. You can also observe that kills from hiding spots are similar. Mark of the Ninja did add some mechanics but quite a bit of it is similar to the mechanics in that game.
