Im sure this has been posted before but ive just got my copy of 'wings of the lufwaffe'

all i can say is wow!

full recommend this well written and fascinating book about the sharp end of german ingenuity. top class

also i dotn want to start war, but tonight i played full real after months of externals.

double wow. now i love both ways to play. i really dont think either way is better. but both are so different and have their own merits

however i was surprised how much fun fr could be

very surprised!

The minute I get one of those visor mounted high definition displays and an IR tracking device I'll play full-real, until then I'll use all of the other views, external or otherwise, to compensate for having to look through a 17 inch square window mounted two foot in front of my face.

The game has arrived, but interface is not quite there, yet.

No, OK, slip of the finger, it happens.

Capt. Eric Brown's book is brilliant, I got a copy from a remainders bookstore for 6.99 the other day and it's now my bedtime read.

i like the chuck yeager quote. im sure i read another one tho. along the lines of:

'the first time i saw chuck yeager i shot him down'

not sure who said it tho..

That was brilliant Phillips, thank you for that!

PS: Chuck Yaeger really said that, and he really did it (a Me.262).
