A gorgeous rendition of the Isle of Man circuit for GPL.

A bit Spa-ish.

What is GPL, and are you referring to Spa Francorchamps?

How many boards could the Mongols hoard if the Mongol Horde got bored?

We're talking about Grand Prix Legends. The hardest race sim you'll ever try. Yes, Spa is one of the tracks in GPL, as it was part of the 67 F1 season.

The game came with 11 tracks. There are over 250 tracks available for it now.

How is the game? I may have to check it out. I'm an F1 nut! Too bad theyr'e not racing at Spa this year. I have been to the last two USGP's and will be there this year as well, woo hoo!

Lixma,

What a beautiful track. It's going to take some time to learn this track. 15 miles long, and 198 turns. Another Nurburgring on our hands here.

Bamatt

It's not a modern F1 game. It's 1967. cars like the Lotus 49. Hard tires, no wings, sudden power curves. Very steep learning curve. After 3 years of racing it every day. I'm still finding ways to go faster. That's a good sim. With all the upgrades made for it. It looks as good as any 2003 game, and will tax your system just as much too.

I don't know if anyone cares but Superbike 2001 is absolutely the hardest, most realistic racing sim (or sim of any kind for that matter) I have ever tried, nothing even comes close. This may be the best game you never heard of/tried, but a joystick is a must (force feedback is great). The learning curve is incredibly steep. The amount of detail is insane, it even has on-track telemmetry that you can view with amazing detail. The amount of options available to adjust your bike is crazy. Also, I think the game is still one of the best looking games ever made, even by today's standards. There was an "ultra" graphic setting that only became available when I upgraded my video card, and the replays after a race are the best I have ever seen. Anybody who is even remotely into superbikes, or who is looking for a serious challenge, should give this one a try. You can probably find it new for $10 at your local store or online.

I've played Superbike2001. Take my word for it. GPL is harder

Looks pretty good for a 98 game too.

Had a brief exploratory couple of laps earlier, Buzz.

Gawd...this is going to be a nightmare to learn. I love the drag up then drop down the hill. V. well done.

Incidentally if you haven't been to England then this does a damned good job at recreating our better B roads.

It will be a hard one to learn. Alot of the turns look the same.
Nurburgring looked different in every turn, and was easy to remember.
