Absolutely yes, but more importantly I'd like to be able to not fire the cowl MG's, which would let me fire just the 4 wing guns together or in pairs. Good for bombers, let you save the cowl MG's for fighters or ranging shots.

I also wish we could have the option to remove the ETC 501 rack, but that is perhaps another poll. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

When it comes to aircombat, I'd rather be lucky than good any day!

More important to me is the ability to have outer cannons removed without the ETC rack as Robban mentioned. This was a common factory and field option.

Personally, I prefer to order my 190s factory direct with the outer cannons removed and the MG and cannon on seperate triggers. By ordering direct you can get your 190 for only 4% over factory invoice! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It's better to reduce the overmodelled muzzle flashes http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

I'll take that deal! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Removing the outer guns (without ETC)will require some FM modifications with a lot less weight in the wings but, it was so common on the Channel Front that it would be worth the effort.

"It's better to reduce the overmodelled muzzle flashes"

I agree with you, but Oleg already told us it was hard-coded.

By the way, thanks all for your interest http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Cowling Guns were removed on later Models anyway. But good point. Also a Nose down attitude would be nice to get the 5 Degrees .).

Hyperion...the removement of the fuselage-mounted guns was indeed very common on Sturmj√¬§ger-variants of the 190, but pretty uncommon on "normal" a/c http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The muzzle-flashes don't bother me that much since I aim before shooting, but that $&()%$&/(&% bar does...

actually, it was possible in real life to fire only the wing cannons. in RL pilots would simply pull out the fuse of the MG's and select to fire all guns on the stick, and ofcourse because the fuse for the MG's are pulled out, the MG's would not fire.

I'd like to have 20 mm only as the light MG is pretty much worthless.

The FW-190 had "fuse cut-off" switches located on the right side panel by pilots arm so in reality the 190 pilot could set his guns to fire in any combination he desired. So yes, I would like to see this option and I would also like the "no outter cannon and no bomb-rack" option.

As Kyrule said. Every gun pair could be disabled by a switch inflight. The triggers are correct. So I suggest this:

We have a "Switch gunpods" button already. Reprogram this one a bit to cycle through multiple options, as we need 3 and not 2 options. Keep the triggers "as is". And switch between "MGs, Cannons and MGs & Cannons" with that button I told about. Easy that. If you don't reprog it, just make it "Cannons or both". But with multiple options it would be better. Also think of the P-39. You could fire those .303 without triggering the 2 .50 then. The other way round is possible already. And that's the only plane right now where this button makes a bit of sense. In the first Il-2 versions we could decide if we fired all four or just the 2 inner wing cannons of 190.

I have to add that a similar switch for BOMBS is very much appreciated!! Let us choose what to drop first (FW-190A-5/U17 for example).

While we are on the subject the FW-190 bomb-panel also has selectors for "delay" and "no-delay." As well as selectors for "dive" and "horizontal" release. No big deal if it ever gets implemented, just thought it was interesting (and it was another chance to show how cool the FW-190 was http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif).
