As far as I can judge after some hours of flying, the patch is great! Really impressive (including sound improvements)!

Just one question at the moment (Starshoy?): Is there a way to continue old campaigns without debriefing errors (i.e. wrong pilot statistics)? Do I have to give up all my offline careers?

BTW: It's getting harder to imagine how a comparatively limited approach like BOB could beat substance and potential of FB and its upcoming expansions ...
Anyhow - as it seems, it will need Oleg's Crew to do it better than Oleg's Crew.

I'm still missing you, baby, but my aim's getting better ...

Nothing wrong with a new generation of flight-simming with the same crew, I say. The more, the merrier, to be sure! I'm just glad that Oleg isn't letting the FB engine go by the wayside when his crew begin to take the development of Battle of Britain into full swing.

But it could be far worse; for example, we could be stuck with a Quake III type deal like our FPS friends are currently trying to cope with. E.g., having the same tired old engine with minor tweaks foisted upon us in game after game after game. Hell, even Call of Duty (best one yet, IMHO), still uses the Quake III engine, though admittedly they did a lot more tweaking to it then one naturally sees in contemporary FPSs.

But whatever happens, I am sure that we will be mightily impressed not only with the quality of product, but also commitment to the community (yes, even the whiners... :-/ ) and most of all...WITH OUR PC UPGRADE BILL! (hehehe, just teasing!) /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
