We had some snow this weekend (rare where I live), felt like I was near Moscow or Leningrad. Went online (went outside) and got mixed up in a big furball (snowball fight) with a bunch of nOObs (children). A squadmate (neighbor) was out there, and I commented favorably on the "target-rich environment" (children standing in clusters). I warned them about trying to make "headshots", and really had my deflection shooting skills working! The nOObs flew underarmed crates, with low-rate-of-fire 12.7 mm MGs (small snowballs). I flew a B-17 (I'm 2 meters tall about 125 kg) and so I was able to absorb collossal amounts of damage. After a multi-kill session, I ran out of ammo (arm got tired) and RTB (went inside).

In the end, it was another fruitless but fun exercise, just like HL.

Do you use TrackIR (move head around normally to see what's around you)?

Yup, I hear you guys...We got a bit in Corvallis, OR. But of course, the rain will come back shortly - too bad we aren't a couple hundred feet higher.

I shamefully confess: it was Wonder Woman View (no obstructions).

Saw a flock of pigeons overhead on my way to the office. Tried to plot getting on their six.

Commented to a judge, after sentence, that my adversary didn't see the 109 on his.

Always the one you don't see...

I was watching the History Channel last week and they were talking about the 800, 900, 1000 plane bombing missions during WWII and I kept thinking to myself, "I wonder what kind of FPS they got on those missions".

I keep wondering how real life gets such good FPS, without any stuttering.

Good thing those kids didn't throw Russian snowballs, you would be in a coma for years, be sure.
