When a cannon or machinegun jams, is there a way to get it operating again in flight?

When it comes to aircombat, I'd rather be lucky than good any day!

400 km/h into the turf will usually loosen it up.. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

If you see the "jammed" message, it is because the gun was hit and is destroyed.

Guns don't jam in FB.

I've had it happen without firing the weapon or being attacked....

Guns jammed rather often as any automatic weapon does. You could reload a gun by puling handles. Late war a/c had pneumatic reloading mechanism and reloading handles to back it up (clearly visible in La7's pit).

If a gun just jammed back in world war II, sometimes just shaking the plane around a little bit would unhinge the jammed round...

If your using gunpods and they jam, try cycling them on and off a few times with the gunpod switch. It's worked before for me.
