My late grandfather flew Halifaxs and Lancs for the RCAF. His logbook is my prized pocession.

I would love to be directed to a forum that featured people with some knowledge of RAF bombers during the war.

Just wanted a place with some good reading and where I could ask a few questions. With FB being more fighter oriented, I didn't think there would be much interest in this forum for discussing such issues. Am I wrong?

Thanks,

aero

Plenty of people here with interest in Bomber Command (myself included - I have a relative who flew Lancasters) so feel free to ask questions here.

There are a lot of web sites, some with forums, for Bomber Command, so with google you shouldn't have any trouble finding some.

Someone is working on a Brit bomber simulator called "target for tonight" is something like that. You should be able to google it, and they probably have the sort of forum, you're asking for.

Best of luck,

Slush
