Saitek X45. Pretty sure it can be configured for a lefty.

Okay, right you are, sorry to lead you the wrong way with the 'convertable' X45.

But...THIS (http://www.chproducts.com/retail/usb_flight_stick.html) might just do the trick. Never had this stick, but my previous stick WAS a CH product and I beat the **** out of it and it still works. Excellent quality if you ask me.

I see the Thrustmaster Fox2 Pro Shock is an optimum option for you. It`s relatively cheap and it`s top quality imo.
The biggest plus is you can set stick resistance which greatly improves on stallfights and gunnery.
Best budget stick there is imo.

If you're a lefty (viva the lefty revolution) then you really have to go with a Saitek. I've just picked up an Evo today after taking back 2 faulty Cyborg Platinums (joystick not centering properly, top part of joystick loose and throttle barely movable). http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Go with the Cyborg EVO.

Cool stick, very precise. 8 way POV hat 5 buttons on the head + trigger and 3 on the base. Throttle and twisty rudder.

And easy to configure for lefties.

Hi p1ng666,

For lefty's, the best stick I've found thus far is the CH Flight Stick Pro ( http://chproducts.com/retail/usb_flight_stick.html ). It doesn't have all the buttons of some of their higher-end sticks, but it is quality all the way and is fully ambidextrous. I use mine in conjunction with a Pro Throttle (turned upside down with the axis reversed for my right hand) and Pro pedals.

It doesn't have any "twisty" action so some sort of pedals are necessary, and the Control Manager software gives complete control over every function you can imagine.

Mine was $80 USD and I got it here: http://www.flightsimcentral.com

Looks like a nice stick but doesn't look too "lefty friendly" to me IMHO. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/cry.gif

I have the Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner. They have the new Afterburner 2s now but I highly recommend either the Fox 2's or the Afterburner 2. The Afterburner is a HOTAS that can be separated or left together so you can fly on your lap as I do. The Fox 2 is just the Afterburner stick with no side throttle. Had mine 2 years and still going strong. Hope that helps. Oh, and its pretty cheap too.
