Nice Seafires, bad roundels. Hope they fix those.

Whoever did this video must not have done the previous ones. Too much of the odd fades and wipes.

In my program at university, we joke and say "and starwipe now...".

Oh well, any chance to get a look at PF is good. Looks like its shaping up nicely!

Cool video. Got to see the Rufe in action despite it being heavily outnumbered too! Okay..so now lets get a video of some Ki-61s or Ki-43s taking off and maybe jumping some bombers. That would be cool. Okay, anything showing the Hien or Ki-43 in motion would be fun for me.

Too much white smoke being put out from the exhaust as well? And yeah that white "dust" coming off the tires looks pretty horrible. I really hope they remove it.

One other thing. If you notice when the planes are taking off they kick up sprays of water even while on the deck and the spray shows through the carrier sometimes. Seems like one of those things that I KNOW they won't fix. Heh...

That was a helluva lot of white smoke. I thought maybe that Merlin was burning glycol.

The fuselage is short and fat,
the plank-like wings are square and flat,
While out behind in foul or fair,
the Wildcat's tail stands fair and square.

Wow, the guy who made that tried out just about every fade and transition I've ever seen and some I haven't (and hope never to see again). Still, musn't grumble, t'was nice to see Spits ruling the Rufe.

I rather liked seeing men on the carrier, and I really the look of the island landing strip. Much more natural than the

Seeing the size of the aircraft wake on take-off compared to the ship and its wake puts in perspective how big the aircraft water wakes are though. I like having the effect on dirt strips, of which there were plenty in the Pacific, but much less on grass and concrete strips, and certainly not in the rain. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I realize that kicking up that much water may not really be so representative. But in most cases I like it better than nothing. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I guess my main concern would be that the main ships could do with more wake. (I won't go on about the volume of smoke as seen in some screenshots, since we are pushing the fps envelope anyway.)

To end on a positive note, the attack on the Japanese installation looked intense! There are gonna be some fun scenarios. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/icon_twisted.gif
