I was wondering if anyone would try an old plastic kit modellers trick and do some kit bashing. Taking existing parts off of models already in the game and putting them in as stand alones or as part of a new model. For instance several of the German ships have flak guns on them that could be used. The quad 20mm flak38 for one. Also all the launches and small boats carried by the ships could be used too for more naval items. On the Russian vessels they also have items of interest. Russian field units used the DShK on a tripod for AA defense and this weapon is already a part of one of the russian vessels. Most of the additional work to make them a complete model would be the mounts and gunshields if that type had one. I think going through the exsisting set of objects could really increase the objects usable to the game dramatically.

On a side note Flak is very nicely done and effective now but has little variety in the Flak weapons, the major ground item to hinder aircraft.

"Very nicely done"? Are you serious? The small calibre guns just shoot away, like there was no such thing as overheating the gun-barrel! And none of the ground objects are able to run out of ammo.
Fix this before putting more FLAK canons in the game I say.
PS: I admit that the FLAK looks gret in this game, and that the effects are well modelled http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

>"Flatspin", what is that supposed to mean? This aircraft is entirely spin-proof!<

I was merely commenting on its effects in game, not the AI handling rountines, which are the are hardest things to program especially if you try to cover all eventualities. Most all of the aircraft ever brought down were due to ground fire of one kind or another. 600 men on the ground firing everything they have at 1 plane is very effective. IF your under 500m good luck.

P.S. I am most definetly a Sir. Full Realism or give me death or a facsimile there of.
