I guess (if this works) this is only really going to prove helpfull to movie-makers.
(I might need to give it a go for creating tracks for campaigns though)

So why not give this a try?

Firstly rename the files called "files.sfs" and "msgsnd.dll" in your FB folder to something like "files.sfs_122" and "msgsnd.dll_122"
Then you need to extract the files called "files.sfs" and "msgsnd.dll" from the 1.21 install (maybe you'll need to d/load it again if you haven't kept a backup) and copy them into your FB folder.

This means you'll effectively have gone back to FB v1.21. Then you can start FB and record your track and then edit it and re-record (or whatever it is you guys do http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

Then you're gunfire should show up in your track.

When you're ready to actually play the game, reverse the steps I outlined above and you'll have 1.22 installed!

I'll bump this one..

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge,
ye shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete, it shall be measured
to you again.

Someone wrote a little Swap application that will automatically swap the respective files. You basically run the application and it asks which version (1.21 or 1.22) you want to use. You choose, then start FB.

But, I can't find the thread where the link to that application was posted.

The official word is that they're working on it.
I reckon it WILL be - that's just my guess though.
