I was reading through the new Flight Journal issue when I ran across an add for museum quality aircraft replicas. I have never been able to outgrow my model building addiction so I just had to take a look. I was floored! You have to see this! The model builder is amazing. Of course museum quality prices but we can always dream anyway. BTW there is a good article on one of the Mosquito aces in this issue. Haven't read it yet but there is a pick of a Mossie without its rudder. The caption below says "There's no problem flying a Mosquito without a rudder as long as both fans are still turning". Off to read.

A speck of dirt on your windscreen could turn into an enemy fighter in the time it took to look round and back again. A little smear on your goggles might hide the plane that was coming in to kill you.

Yes, this guy is good. Someone already pointed out his work about a year ago. This guy is from Argentina and has been doing models, hand-made not pre-fab, since he was young! He has a webpage with all of his work and history. I think he is trying to buy back all of his earlier work that he sold. Here is the link:

He is a master in this field of modeling!

I guess I should just throw this into the dustbin. Well maybee not. I'll finish it one of these days.

I say OT becasue its not really IL-2 related. Don't want my head chewed off by the post Nazis.
