I know. The Tournament was the easiest level in a video game ever.

The detection system definitely deserves 10/10.

^ Same here. For some reason you can do it in combat and save a lot of your health. :p

It's an acceptable trick for an Assassin.

Fatal-Feit.

Unity is not hard, it's balanced. There's a difference.

I've been telling people, once you're experienced, you can literally take down waves of 5 star guards in combat with lvl 1 gear.

But guns are still overpowered, or let's say the AI using guns because the gun damage itself is okay.

Other than the glaring issues of sometimes being shot from afar w/o any notices, guns forces you to time your attacks & evade, and/or use your tools instead of going crazy like it's a hack and slash simulator.

I agree guns are a big issue.

you could be running away 34984305830948534 miles away and still get shot consecutively by a running pursuer with perfect aim.

^ During combat it can be bad, but when running, it's worse in Brotherhood, Revelations and especially 3. They can be a mile away and your horse would be shot.

i dont remember that being as much of an issue in AC3.

I only remember the annoying as hell rooftop guards

In AC3, the guards will be everywhere in the city, randomly spawning in corners and stuff.

I was okay with them because they were Scottish AND from my hometown of Glasgow.

Unity's cockney speaking guards however... "I'll bash your skull in I will!" OMG STFU

So true. I wonder how much bashing and cockney gonna get crammed into Victory

I have been re-playind AC4BF and Unity in the same time, and I can surely affirm that personally I do prefer ACU combat vs AC4BF. Hands down figthing in ACU are less fun, but surely more "badass" than the 2 past games.

In ACU combat is more balanced - it is balanced based upon of your gear or still your own strategy or adaptation to the situation.

I tent to think that ACU combats are far of being perfect and that some combat features from AC3/AC4 are cruelly missing such as human shield or still the counter double kill from two opponent attacking in the same time (They were less frequent in ACR4 comparing to AC3, but it was fun when they were happening) - however & despite this two missing I think that it is a good direction for the future games.

Note a point that I really liked in ACU was that when I got desynchronized (main mission or else) it was mostly because I died in combat and not because I did not follow the path fixed by the devs for that missions.

It's not that it's hard - it's that it's harder than the past Assassin's Creeds. Still not a big challenge but certainly an improvement over the past games.
