Britain's best long range carrier fighter,
it took part in strikes on Japan in 1945.
Also the brother of one of my old Warbirds
squadmates sadly died last year when the
plane he had restored crashed. It would be
nice to see it in Pacific Fighters.

Sorry to hear about your friend.
But it's great to see that SOME people realize that there was more to carrier operations than the US influence. One wonders how many people have heard of the Hawker Sea Fury....

I'm an American, and am drooling at the chance to fly the Firefly. It is one of my alltime favorite aircraft. We also should have the Fulmar.

The Sea Fury is also very cool, but it came too late for the area covered by PF.

Agreed. I think we'll see a surge in interest in naval attack aircraft with this Fab pacific simm. I can see alot of potential for building some great missions.

I don't think the Fulmar was much used in
the Pacific, AFAIK. Certainly the Firefly
is a better looking plane, so it would be
nice to favour the Firefly.

I saw one fly recently at an airshow - R/R Griffon engined honey with lots of loadout options apparently... 2 place carrier based beauty with a rather large 5-blade prop..

She made a purposeful sound flying past us on the tarmac.

I overheard several people referring to it as a Spitfire.. hahah There was a MkV Spit parked 100 feet away from the Firefly...

I'd like to see the planes, too, but (1) if you made a Pacific game with just Americans and Australians, with a tad of Dutch and Kiwi thrown in, you'd have 99% of the action, and (2) you're whining.
