I fly the Heinkel all the time online and think it's the biggest challenge, you're such a target. I use to make these and Donair bomber model kits, too bad they don't model the huge 40mm cannon on the He-111 on the belly, I remember a few models with that feature.
Check these images of Heinkels:

I going to grab some screenshots that are like these bombadier's pictures just to compare, looks pretty accurate.

If you noticed on the image of the nose gun it was spun around 90 degrees, If I remember the MG-42 (not 20mm) in the nose was mounted in a sort of spinning round device that enabled the gunner to be on a banking angle and still shoot perpindiculr to the horizon, the guys not strapped in, unless in the bombadier's position.
..more images. Now of "Sturzkampfflugzeuge" aka Stukas, my second favourite death trap.

Deathrap?

Only if you fly alone /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

BTW, the gun in the nose is an MG-15, not MG-42.

Stg77's right,if you fly the stukaz with 2 or 3 people it surely rocks.
stg 77 try 4stukas around a heinkel, get me? 1 at ech wing and one at the tail and 1 in front at the nose, the heinkel will protect the belle while the stuka's 'll protect a hell of a lot more!/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
and they have a good payload together

Haven't done co-op yet, always get impatient, can't wait. Online dogfight nobody helps me and I'm always alone. I've been using the 1941 model He-111 dropping the 20 70 pounder bombs, more bombs, more fun. My favourite trick now is to dive down flying in the nose gun and blast away, it's nice to be able to move the weapon around and fly at the same time while the AI rear gunners protect you.
Sorry I only know MG-42, thinking of "Enemy Territory" FPS game I always play.
