Hope everyone down south (Florida) fared OK. Lot's of trees down and power out up here in NE Florida.

Willy

PS: I'm buying stock in generators, plywood, and water!

For a second I thought you were bashing France and talking about CrazyIvan coming over and closing the thread. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Be safe all you Floridians!

Be safe everyone on it's path, but I don't know who I'd rather face : Hurricane Ivan or crazyivan in a Hurricane . http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

west palm beach here...

thanks to super work by bell south, i'm back online.

nasty hurricane...sounds like i've never heard before, nor hope to ever hear again. like a 900 lb gorrila pounding on the roof and walls. crashes here and there. the wind/gale noise was beyond that of a locomotive passing by. we figure winds were 80-100 mph. thank God, we made it okay. btw, our two basset hounds slept thu the storm...lol.

looks like "ivan" mite be heading south instead of hitting the *****ula (nyuk) like frances did. hope so.

anyway, good to be beck!
