This has probably been discussed many times before. I think it would be nice if this could be implemented in future releases:

As many people don't use voice software like Team Speak, and the chat bar is a bit limited. Couldn't there be a system put in place like the one we use to communicate with the AI that speaks for us?

Like there are in many MP games nowadays. Push "V" and "1" and then "2" would have me say something like " Clear my tail I'm under attack" and not only would that come up as a written message all players on my team within a certain distance would hear this.

It is likely that this could be used for spam but I believe that many FB players are mature enough to handle this system and most games where people do spam the voice chat, there is an option to turn the culprit off individually without having to turn everybody off.

What would be even more useful but harder to implement would be that if you looked at a team member and pushed a button their name would come up in the written text then you pushed the buttons for "check your 6" and pushed send.

This would be a lot easier then spotting a team mate called VeryLongMultiplayerName who has a bandit sneaking up on him and typing his name in the dialog box and then check six with it. By then the guy is a smoking wreck. This is more important now that the sound has been changed.

You could try VoiceFlux from www.voiceflux.net (http://www.voiceflux.net). This allows you to give voice commands which will then emulate key presses. So you can set up your pre-set typed messages to be displayed when you say the appropriate command. I also use it for the comms menus.

Good Luck,

WB.
