Haven't had anything worth posting for awhile but this little event from an offline I-16 campaign has never happened before - to me anyway. Bailed out of a spinning Rata with it's horizontal stabilizer blown away and it kept me in suspense for a few seconds before it neatly collapsed my chute.

Here's the track (http://www.members.shaw.ca/al-randall/images/KilledByMyOwnPlane.ntrk) if you need a chuckle today http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

This happens a lot when you have to bail from a spinning P-39.

You bail, but you actually fall faster than yer a/c, and when your chute deploys, yer aircraft more often than not catches ye and kills ye.

Bloomin' annoying!!!

whit ye looking at, ya big jessie?!?!

For some reason that seems to happen in the 110 a LOT.

Used to P*** me off but now I just collect the tracks.

That would be Leningrad as the mission was from Kronschtadt Naval Base to Leniningrad.

This incident is, sadly, not new to me. Happens frequently in the B-25, especially the H-version.

Just rock her a lil' too hard, and she immediately enters an unrecoverable flat spin. If I let the crew bail, the few ones that make it out of the plane always get caught by it, as they fall a lil faster, then they deploy their chute, which immediately gets chopped by the B-25 above them.

Besides, I do believe that the B-25 stalls too easy anyway, but that's some other story.

Good idea, Why not post it in Oleg's ready room with topic about want add into BOB. Maybe BOB can model pilot/crew to get more active when get out plane or get in plane.

I had a TB3 loose a few engines and go into a spit. I bailed out and all the crew bailed out UNDER it. 1 by 1 the spinning wing of the TB3 chopped us all up. I was laughing for hours.
