somehow i have managed to loose double H in the slaughterhouse and as i have read so have a few others, i was wondering if there is anything atall that we can do about this as it is extremely annoying and i dont really want to restart my game

The official company line, at least when I contacted Ubi Soft about this problem, was: You're the only one with this problem, so tough luck. Once I pointed out all the others who have mentioned this bug, on this forum and at GameFaqs, the line changed to: We'll talk to the developers but don't expect any workaround. Tough luck.

I didn't get any luck with a plea for a valid save game to let me continue so I just gave up and listed the game on eBay.

Have either one of you tried the patch? It's supposed to fix this.

It might have prevented it from happening in the first place (I haven't checked this out), but it won't fix it if it's already happened to you. In other words, it won't make Double-H reappear if you're in the Slaughterhouse without him and can't go back to get him. If you don't have any previous saved games then you're still stuck.
