Thread: SM30PATH Problem !?? | Forums

  1. #1
I have enabled the SM30path but performance seems a little off. e.g. in the areas I would normally be getting 60+ the framerate is 42fps (always 42fps!?) Doesnt seem to make much sence.

OK now I know something is wrong.. When inside on the carrier lvl when it went to 42fps I tested with the flashlight and the framerate stayed at 42fps with the flashlight on!!! Whats wrong with this game? !! Its doing it to me wether I enable the SM30 path manually or not. LOL.

Sounds like you're missing one or more SM3-elements on your computer. Do you have directx9.0c installed and SM3-capable video-drivers?

This is strange. We have the same setup, but you loose 30% and I gain 5%fps.
    Where's the 25%-35% gain, Crytek?

Should I try another driver? Which drivers have SM3.0 enabled by default ?
