I got Call of Duty, but can't find the CD key on the case | Forums

I got Call of Duty from Costco for only $44. When installed, it asked for a CD key, but I looked on the CD case and couldn't find any CD key in print. Can anyone explain?

I don't have the game, but sometimes the key is written on paper inside the box, and the label needs to be fixed to it, so check all documents as well. But more likely, it is on the back or on the inside of the cover.

I bought a game once which had a CD key printed in dark grey....on black!

Better check that too.

For the people here that got CoD, can anyone tell me where you found the CD key?

I have it. It's under the CDs... Lift up the 2nd CD tray and you'll see it.

I lifted the CD tray and it's just a picture, no CD key. Was the CD key supposed to a sticker or printed directly on?

On a CoD forum I visit sometimes a guy posted about getting a copy of the game missing the CD key. Then several other people posted the same thing and they concluded that something went wrong during the packaging and they needed to exchange the game.
