no frames per second at all | Forums

Hi all, I just bought the game. It's superb!
BUT, when i turn on FSAA and heat blur in the game, the fps drops to 1.3 (?!?!)
How is that possible?
My system:
Athlon xp 3200+ (2.2 Ghz)
sapphire radeon 9800 pro
512 mb ddr sdram (pc3200)
20 Gb maxtor hdd
asus a7n8x-x mainboard
creative live! soundcard.

It's a bug. Heat Blur is consuming about 610 FPS. Simply press ALT+TAB and then return to the game.

Just a tip...by using Alt tab all you are doing is making the call for AA go away on certain objects that do not make multiple calls for AA to the driver. This really isn't fixing it just in a sense shutting off the AA on certain objetcs (even more than just heat blur)

I don't play with AA enabled at all, and i still have to ALT-TAB to get good frames when using heat blur.
