I'm aware that the game is set to run in 32 bit color depth by default but after editing the system config file to display the game at only 16bit color depth I get a massive performance increase on my computer. Now this is all great but everytime I get shot and the red hue surrounds the outer edges of the screen (to signify taking damage) I get a corrupted image, all elements of the HUD are all still there howether. I was wondering if you knew of this problem and how to fix it, or if not, know a way to disable the red hue effect as this may help the problem by getting rid of that altogether. thanks

Since the game was not meant to be played in 16 bit, I have no doubt that you'll see all kinds of graphical issues.
Very doubtful you will get a resolution on this. Is it just too slow in 32 bit?

not really I have a decent computer, but it runs a whole lot smoother in 16bit, like an extra 20fps smoother. Technical support said they wont help me because they dont support modifications to the games files. I'll probably just go back to my power sapping 32 bit setting

Sorry guy. It would be nice as far as the FPS boost, but can't see how it would look anywhere near as good as 32bit.
