I personally would not download any patch until a release announcement is made on the lo-mac site. Really, I don't know what people are thinking when they download a patch from a third-party website, before anyone has made an announcement here, and then are surprised when the thing causes problems. Idiots!!!

lol the patch was leaked by some people beta testing it, right before releasing it. The problem with the cd wasn't noticed until a few of those 'idiots' downloaded the leaked version and reported the problem before the patch was officially released.

Calm down boy! They tell themselves "hey I`m gonna make a Norton Ghost image now and I`m gonna try that patch I`ve been waiting for so long, and if it doesn`t work, I`ll put the floppy in drive and in 2 minutes, I`ll be back to starting point." That`s all...I don`t think it`s stupid, I think it`s BRILLIANT. Period

3D gamers, and Game Spy are the most reliable mirror sites around. I dont think 3D would release a beta patch and if they did I believe the devs would have issued a statement explaining that problems are due to a beta patch being issued be 3D gamers. The so called idiots may have saved a lot of time by discovering the problem between UK and US versions, in regards to the patch, that meant we can now see a solution within the same day.
