On the Xbox Live stats you have the ELO. I am wondering what that stands for?

Look it up online. It's a performance system developed for chess by a gentleman with the last name Elo.

It's the horrible rating system developed for chess but for some stupid reason is used for Rainbow. People can easily glitch it as you can see from the leaderboards which really take the whole "competition" part of the game out.

Shut it. This system is well made. Just make sure that you (UBI) take out the sharpshooter glitch AND the stats r updated after 1min. of play AND the copy stat glitch is gone.
Then the ELO will work faultless.

Its plain to see that ubi has had problems with this system from the start. The concept is good, but if they get it to work faultless it will be the first time.

Once I was at the #1 spot for like a day and hadn't played for weeks. just happened to check the boards. This was in the original r63 after they supposedly fixed elo and reset the stats.

If Halo 2 gets the ELO system right, then Ubi needs to copy because these stats are ridiculous.

No, its a great rating system for chess and is a fairly accurate indicator of skill. Its not so good in any other game because it was designed specifically for chess.

It can be applied to any competitive scoring type event and could be ran to perfection if UBI would get their act together.
