Last Bump!
There's a great bunch of folks flying FB at the 249th_IAP. We also plan on flying LOMAC as soon as it becomes a reality. The Drunken Goats of the 249th_IAP take both our flying and having fun seriously - if you can't do both, you're doing something wrong! We train as hard as our real lives allow and always have a great time whenever we are able to fly. Our membership spans all levels of proficiency and all levels are welcome. There is a ton of fabulously talented pilots who would love to fly and share their knowledge and learn from your bag of tricks as well. We defend Rodina, our Mother Russia against the Hun horde and consume nearly as much virtual beer and Vodka as virtual avgas in the process.
We have members in over a dozen countries from four continents and from all walks of life (including a few military pilots from the USAF and the RAF). We look at the maturity and ability to reflect well on the 249th's proud heritage rather than the age of our applicants.
If you enjoy virtual combat aviation; get along well with others online; live and fly by a code of honor like our own; want to learn and/or teach; enjoy the Virtual Eastern Front, Forgotten Skies and well organized campaign play as well as flying the circus in the DogFight rooms, The Drunken Goats of the 249th may be where you want to bunk and fly.
