    howdy,
    the game is awesome but
    most of the time you can see thin stripes on top of the screen (like 3 of them), sometimes they disappear. i'm using radeon 9800 pro, winXP.
    anyone knows the origin of this problem 'cos it seems to me i saw it in some other games too.

    Have you seen anything simular to that on other games such as Deus Ex 2? I see it on DE2...Maybe it's the Catalyst 3.9s. Have you tried any other drivers?

    I had them with catalyst 3.0 also ... maybe everybody have it, not only ATI cards (mine is radeon 8500 LE 64)

    I think the stripes are an indication that your card is running out of memory; I lowered the shadows on mine and they went away. I'm using a 9800xt but only 4x AGP; I'm able to run at 1600x1200 with low shadows and 3/4 of the bar on anti-aliasing.

    Try lowering shadows and see if that helps. Be sure to report back if it does!
