Kind of.

I run it on XP, I know people that run it on XP . . . . but I also know people that can't get it to run on XP, no matter what they do.

It's a temperamental sim . . . . it's possible to run it on XP, but can't give you a cast-iron answer either way.

I run the game with Windows 98SE and it runs great. If I'd run it on Windows XP,it probably wouldn't run so smoothly.

I ran it on XP Pro by running it in windows 98/ME compatability mode, and disabling visual themes. Now i'v switched to XP Home, it ran fine except for the occasional freeze, i then disabled visual themes in the properties menu, havnt had a freeze since and it runs sweet.

I never knew there was a WIN98/ME mode for XP....how do you set it?

Right click on the program you want to run in a different windows compatability mode, click on properties. At the top of the properties window, there is a tab market "COMPATABILITY". Click that, you will see a checkbox marked "Run This Program In Compatability Mode For", check that, and choose a mode fromt he drop down list. Often its just a trial and error system, several of my games would not run untill i switched them to another compat mode. Also, disabling visual themes seems to help with graphics issues. You can disable visual themes from the same area as the compat modes.
