SERVER DID NOT RESPOND cannot connect to any games | Forums

Ever since the 1.3 patch, and sometimes even with 1.2 I have not been able to connect to any games.

I have tried all the ports in the FAQ, have tried DMZ, rebooting the router, just abou everything.

I see all the server and their pings and stats.

I haven't been able to play ONE single game.

Even reformatted HD, clean install Win2k, applied full 1.3 patch, and still no able to connect.


Anybody else having this trouble?

Thank you for the reply, but, the post from JJ states nothing about not being able to connect to ANY server while receiving the SERVER NOT RESPONDING error message.

The post deals with errors concerning CD Key validations and such. Furthermore, one rememdy for one of the errors in JJ's post is, and I quote, "Try another server.", which is absurd.

One thing I did try today was, that if I join my dedicated server behind my router through IP, then exit, then try to join a game, it works.

So in order to play RVS, I have to boot the second pc, start the server, join a game with noone in it, exit, then find a server to play.

The worst part is, my dedicated server(patcehed to 1.3) shows up, with map names and all stats, but noone can join.

Oh well, I haven't played RVS in months, was trying to play just one game yesterday since I bought a new motherboard and high end gfx card.

I gues it's back to BF1942 and AA 'till another six months, when I come back to skim the forums and see if things are the same or worse.

Im having th same problems but it doesnt say anything about the CD key

Same problem here - I haven't played for MONTHS

I would suggest getting the demo Hey, at least it's something.
