Ok yes maybe the mercs needed a lil help cuz they were being over run in the maps but UBISOFT went toooooo far, come on its come to the point that in two or three shots the spy which your shooting at is dead. I play as a merc too and its just not as satisfying when u get a kill anymore cuz it takes no skill, all i have to do is throw grenades everywhere and thats it cuz they dont even need to blow up on the spy the spy just has to be within, ohhhhhhhhh lets say in any area near the dam thing even thru a wall and the spy is still killed. I know that UBISOFT is just tryin to perfect the balance of the game but i think that they went tooo far, they still havent fixed the problems with the ati cards that people r having, mic problems (sometimes the mic will just decide that it will mute itself, and it isnt only me guys), and a bunch of other snnoying game glitches that were brought on beacause they jumped the gun on this games release, just like any other developer/publisher. Noone takes their time to prepare games for release like they used to anymore. game companies are just getting too careless and only thinkin of the money, and that should defenetly change. Dont get me wrong the game is still revolutionary first of its kind, and amazing, and great, butttttt they still shouldve fine tunned it before letting it go to the shelves.

P.S. COME ON UBI MAKE US PROUD AND PERFECT THIS GAME FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL ON THE NEXT PATCH!!!!!

You know I am very confused about something.

Half of the comments I hear about the new patch is that if a Spy is found by a Merc, that he will invariably die, when my experience shows that this is anything but. Yes, your chances of dying have increased, but I would say that I still manage to escape at LEAST half of the times in which I am caught. Get your *** up out of crouch position, smack him with a quick shocker, throw a flashbang on the floor, and break the hell out of there with dive rolls! From what I've seen, the Mercs success rate with the Tazer in the first shot has not been very high. Mercs may be more powerful, but they are not godly by any means.

If you are unprepared, you will most likely face doom, but preparing is half the battle isn't it?

The game is FINE now. If you are really a good player as a Spy, and your getting your *** kicked, it is probably due to the fact that you and your teammate are not communicating. I find that more than ever Spies need to use teamwork to distract Mercs, especially in the Warehouse level.

The new patch did push the mercs damage to high. If u knew how to own with a merc before, the game is just to easy now. I would get like 6+ kills a match as a merc before, and now i steal them all with ease. as a spy, u have to just run now, dont play with the mercs, cuase they can drop ya to quick. i would like it to go back to how it as though, where merc still required skill.

Haha I agree. I kept hearing complaints about "Ohh the mercs weapon is too weak turn it up!"

SO they listen to you guys and turn it up. But now you want it back down!

Most spys think they will try to run around the merc and grab them, and when they get tazered and shot to death they wonder why?

You can get away from mercs when found easily. Flash/smoke and run like hell.

If you ever tried to run away instead of running AT the merc and trying to grab him, you'd do a much better job.

While I'd have to disagree about the game tweak (I think the upgraded damage is fine, quit trying to break my neck and go do the objective like a good spy =P), I'd have to agree with him on that point. I'm really starting to get turned off by games now because to get a perfect copy you have to wait a few patches. What ever happened to working straight out of the box? How can you blame people for pirating when you're paying for a half finished product? Only thing I can say is thank god they actually put out a patch eventually...
