First of all you need more memory.1 Gig seems the norm these days though I am able to run farcry on highest setting with a 1.3gig cpu,768 memory (now 1 gig), and a GF4.
There have been past posts about the Radeon cards and driver issues.Try doing a search on these forums.

ATIs are easy to fix by turning off the settings in control panel and turning them on one by one to see if aa or something is causing problems. The omega drivers for ati www.omegacorner.com actually seem to fix lots of problems the new radeons have with hardware aa conflicting with software aa. They're better than ATI's factory drivers anyway, get em.

thank you for the reply guys, i will try the omegadrivers. but what i find strange that other guys were albe to play far cry with the same card as me and by them the catalyst 4.1 en 4.2 drivers work not for me. sorry , i will search in other topics.
