If you could design your mission for Splinter Cell what would it be. Include things like the setting, any major story elements, unique/original/just plain cool things about it, possibly which two missions it would go between, etc.
Here's my own:
It starts of with a cutscene of Sam arriving at the airport. When the action switches to your control your in the shadow of a baggage carrier cart by the runways. Your main mission objective is to Stow away on a Nikoladze's 737 and obtain critical intel. The plane is full of Nikoladze's crew and security is tight. Before you actually get onto the plane you must laser mic. a certain plane window. The only perimeter is that you can't kill any airplane crew (stewardesses, baggage boys, etc.)but you can kill Nikoladze's men. The catch is that to kill you have to get one of his men isolated, like when they go to the bathroom, otherwise they'll outnumber and overtake you. Put short this mission is more like the CIA than Kalinatek. Sam will have access to the under parts of the plane, maybe even cockpit if he can do it right. After he sucessfully stows away on the plane and it lands his extraction is to meet Coen at the new airport.
Sound pretty cool? Would you play it? Have an idea of your own? Post it!

mine would start with Sam at the funeral of wilkes jr. and sam would have a call from lambert telling that Philip Masse has stolen an important document that might find the cause of the gorgian iformation crisis, you'll have to find this file (found on masse's personal PC), you would be in a jungle in the caribeans, you have to reach the main server room found in a hidden building underground, you'll have to pass several retinal scanners and keypads, it would be in an undergorund warehouse with tractor-trailers and all that, there would be a server room in the back of the building, when you accsess the computer, you would have to assasinate some little computer geek (not masse) to retreive the e-mail linking to the documents, then you access to Masse's pc gain, this time Masse is there talking to a colonel that could open an important retinal scanner, you would have to wait until the colonel leaves, an then you would have to interrogate masse, then use the computer,
then you would have to open a ret. scanner linking to a safe, use it and then take a PSG-1 sniper rifle, you would use this to shoot a soldier bolcking a door to extraction, you would shoot him and then inplant wall mines to kill further guards,then your done!

Ok, my mission would have a scene of Sam rappling from a helicopter onto a roof. The camera then zooms out to show the building Sam has just touched down on, IT'S THE WHITE HOUSE!!! Sam is dressed in the outfitt that he has on in the Presidental Palace (also know to some as "The Stealth Suit"). The reason Sam is here is to investigate a hunch that the NSA has, that the "honorable" president has taken bribes from Georgian terrorists. Sam continues along the roof until he finds a point to rapple down. He rapples down the wall to a trap door in the ground. This tunnel that Sam drops into is one that the President uses for emergency escape. This tunnel is also tall enough for Sam to split jump. Sam does so and the President and a Georgia diplomat then walk and stop right under Sam!! Your worst fears have just been realized as the conversation finishes up, the President IS taking bribes. You continue through the level and find the President's personal computer in ,of course, the Oval Office. Download the files and reach the roof by a different route you came (the guards found a trail that led them to the trap door) and get extracted. This mission is a cross between the CIA, Defense Ministry and Presidental Palace missions.
Pretty cool, huh?

this one:
it would start with sam skydiving, he'd touch down in a deserted city in washington DC, he has to find this "arc" in a warehouse,he's have to kill a truck driver (one of Kombayne Nickoladze's men) to stall the truck to open the box pulling the "arc", this way yous should go in the back, right?no, this one you have to run to a gas chamber upstairs, open it and disarm the "arc" and the one of Lambert's workers should come in and take the truck away, the you'll have to KILL masse to avoid any other damage to the country, after you kill him, it takes you to a call from lambert,then HE GETS CUT OFF!!!your job is to find him in a cell in T'bilisi,take him away, and then [i]Lambert betrays you!<i/>then he try's to kill you,
then sam knock him out, but then lambert wakes up in the chinese embassy,[i]SAM IS BEHIND HIM TO INTERROGATE<i/>
then lambert kills himself in a small cutscene,
then Sam finds a video of wilkes jr talking to him in a video postcard, saying that "Sam will be sure to die in the mission" and all that, then sam trips and finds the body of wilkes!![B]THE SAM FINDS A SMALL CUT ON THE NECK AND IT WAS A MASK!!!!<b/>the man was Grinko's personal driver, Hamlet,
then wilkes walks behind in terror, saying that lambert tortured im in a small argument,then sam asks him if he knows anything about the betrayal of Lambert, and then he says:"i....i..... oooooohh......"the he dies...
