[Gaendaal]

Hello all...

I'm Gaendaal (the name comes from how I used to pronounce my RL name as a child...) and am "ein Englander" currently living in Scotland (Edinburgh).

By day I do boring things with computers (tech support for a bank) and by night I do exciting things with computers...

Apart from playing games (FPS and Baldur's Gate style RPGs mainly) I do web design and music. I run my own independant record label (Monkeyhouse Recordings, link below) for electronic based ambient/dark ambient/electronica/noise/experimental stuff and do pretty much everything myself. Music's pretty important to me. I'm one of those people who say they like "everything"...but I actually mean it. Everything from deep, void ambient (Sleep Research Facility) through to extreme black metal (1349, ATM) and noise (Merzbow and DHR stuff) with jungle, orchestral, ragga, folk, hip hop, whatever in between.

I first came to the forums here 'cos I couldn't get the gosh darned game to run but stuck around to hand out my knowledge and (unintentionally) derail threads with my rambling...

Wow that sounds EXACTLY like me! I work in the IT department of a bank, and at night I come home and do exciting things on my computer such as play games, forum wh0re, and chat.
