    Piano Juggling

    Apparently, it's a thing.

A pretty amazing thing, now that I think on it.

That does look cool, but I'm not sure I'm buying that the balls are actually playing the notes of the song. More likely in my mind is that the pressure-sensitive keyboard plays the next note in the song each time it is struck (anywhere).

In this video (from overhead), when he starts playing the fast part it sure looks to me like all the balls are hitting the same couple keys regardless of the notes being played. He moves a little one way or the other to maintain the visual effect, but it doesn't look like the balls are hitting the right keys to make the actual sounds. Hopefully I'm wrong because it'd be cooler if someone could actually do this.

You know, even if it is simply programmed to play the next note in sequence, I'm impressed that he can execute the sequence in time with that pattern of juggling. Still 8.5/10.

Agree. Even bouncing the 2 or 3 ball "chords" and catching the balls again is enough to get my quarter.

    Love it! Thanks for sharing.

My brother plays keys. I told him he had a week to master this before their next gig.

He might want to start off by simply resting his balls on the keys. Then perhaps build up to juggling.

You are correct. I have been juggling about as long as I have been playing guitar, and this is an old but excellent trick. And his five-ball bounce skills are very good!
