Atrus has nara padlocked the Releeshan book, yet puts it in a glass holder? As was so forcefully brought to our attention in this very game, that wasn't a very secure location . If I were Atrus I'd put it in a steel cage, which is ALSO nara padlocked and sealed from intrusion. Then again, if he had done that, very likely there'd be no Myst III, or else perhaps Saveedro would just conk us all out with his hammer (convenient that he'd have a hammer to bash open the glass holder for Releeshan, eh?) and then steal the key from Atrus .
