Hi... I have a windsurfer and I know that this is not the best place in the world to post this but what the heck. I have torn a 7 inch rip in its sail and i was wondering if there was anyone out there that has some information regarding how i could repair this i would be more than gratefull. The windsurfer is not a new one i would say it is at least 15 years old. Thanks in advance.

Sewing will probably work fine. If not, try using bonding glue or paste.

BTW, welcome to the flourishing and glorious RvS OTF!

One word of advice: If you see the word "Sugarcane", you'd better run as fast as your newb legs can carry you...

    More precise:

If you see it uttered by either

    A) durdd
    B) Furious_Gopher
    C) Furious_Gopher and durdd

    Run. And don't look back

I think i saw something... somewhere that mentioned you can repair the torn fabrict with a strong adhesive and similar material.

Get a patch of material and then use the adhesive around the tear. Then place the patch over it. May not look pretty, but should work. might want to do both sides of the tear

Cant guarentee anything but it may help.

Patches are OK, but I find synthetic bonding paste more reliable.
