Why didn't Red Storm Entertainment develope Raven Shield? They did the first R6 which was GREAT for it's time. They did Rogue Spear which was even better! Why did RedStorm turn over the development to UBI???? UBI has so many games to deal with.. That they don't really care about their Raven Shield customers.. UBI would rather comeout with an Addon for Raven Shield then fix the bugs in the current!
I think Red Storm could have done a better job...

My understanding is that RS is working on Ghost Recon 2 very quietly. I have no factual base for it, but it does make sense.
RS haves done the R6 series for how many years? They probably want to do something new and fresh and a sequal to GR would make sense. Imagine AA with in depth single player side as well?

RSE was bought out by UbiSoft, and it was my understanding that they were pulled from RavenShield - at least those were the rumblings heard from one or two of the old RSE developers (who I won't name here). Whether that's true...who knows.

November 2001, so 2 years ago. I'd say 2-3 years development for a sequal sounds right, esp if they are using a new engine.
