I have been trying to get through this airport portion of the game for three weeks now. I get so far even getting two of the hostages but either the third hostage gets killed or the first two get killed. I try to enter the room every way possible but I cannot get past this. I am totally frustrated and I am ready to toss the cd. Is there any advice to help me get through this airport????

"Falcon Hour".
As with all hostage rescue missions...
SMOKE, SMOKE and more SMOKE.
This is the AI's weakness.
They can't see past it/through it.
Just smoke a room with two or three smoke grenades, run over to the hostage, and by the time you are already out the room the AI will still be sitting there like nothing is going on (highly unrealistic, but it works in your favor).

If your REALLY tired of this mission ... load the default plan and do the mission, it works well...
But if you want to do your own plan (what I prefer personnaly), do not hesitate to use equipments instead of only your guns.
A breaching charge will open the door yes, but it will also stunt nearby tango.
The smoke grenade, like said before, is pretty useful to avoid beeing seen and shoot at your opponents.
The flashbang is more than useful in many case ! It will give you 2 or 3 precious seconde to storm a room.

Not that I'm a pro or anything but I do have alot of experience with FPS's. RS3:RS is my first go around with a hardcore tactical sim. At first I was dying, my team was dying but the more you play you will learn some "tricks" in how to get through missions. As far as this mission - "Falcon Hour" - when you get to the last room 2 teams will set breaching charges from two entries. When they go off the occupants are stunned and your A.I. teammates are way better shooters than you so they will do more downing of tangos quickly. I usually let green team take care of the first hostage in the mission. They always get it done. Just be quiet with dropping tangos as to not alert others.
Try different tactics. I like to hold all teams at times and snipe tangos or clear rooms in advance of a rescue to minimize engagements that will get hostages or team members killed. I drag the harder missions out some times but the anxiety is awesome. In the last mission - and the most tricky - "Steel Rose" I go with silent weapons - especially now that assault rifles are more powerful after the last patch - and snipe all in the first area of the map then go to the roof and snipe the snipers and many tangos 'cause as they go down others investigate only to meet the same fate. The whole upper floor of the adjacent building practically clears out and I even get guys by Gospic further over the roof. Just be careful 'cause a tango that really takes notice will detonate the bomb. When enough are cleared I go to the bottom floor and have all teams - gold holds on the roof to take care of additional tangos that may appear in windows or on roof - rush to the street to secure the bomb. It often works but sometimes it backfires. But like what was suggested remember to use smoke in key areas. Smoke is your friend!
Note: You can go in with guns blazin' but that will often get you or team members/hostages killed or ruin a mission that requires stealth. Some mission are great with full power but some are best done quietly.
Again, try different things and remember what works most often. Go prone and see what's behind or beyond a vehicle. Shoot 'em and anyone who comes to investigate. You'll get it. Good luck!

As KungFu said, smoke is your best friend. However, when you use the smoke, use it not only to rescue the hostages, but also to pick off the terrorists while they stupidly stand there like nothing's happening because the mission requires that you also eliminate all the terrorists on the map. Might as well save a few smokes and just do it while you're getting the hostages too.
